Questions
Francesco, throughout. Designics is a small studio on purpose — the person you brief is the person doing the strategy, the design and the build. Specialists join for photography, illustration or copy when a project calls for it, and you will know who they are.
An identity usually runs a matter of weeks; a full site design and build takes longer, and the gap is almost always content rather than design. You get a timeline with the scope before anything starts, and it is built backwards from the date that matters to you.
Every project is quoted as a fixed price against a written scope, so there are no hourly surprises. Retainers are a flat monthly figure. Sharing a rough budget in your first message is the fastest way to find out whether we are a fit.
Regularly. The studio is based in Montreal and works remotely with clients wherever they are — the working rhythm is scheduled calls plus written updates, which tends to be sharper than being in the same room anyway.
Yes. Plenty of projects are a website for an identity that already works, or a careful evolution rather than a rebuild. If we think the brand is the real problem, we will say so before you spend money on the wrong thing.
A sense of what the business is trying to do next, who it needs to reach, and what is currently getting in the way. Anything you already have — decks, analytics, past work, competitor notes — makes the first conversation more useful.
